Essex Audi is proud to be sponsor for this fantastic event for the sixth year running. Our company employs a large number of people throughout Essex and the Events run by Helen Rollason Cancer Charity have touched many of them personally.
The Ride For Helen is always a popular event for us with many staff participating to help raise money and to enjoy the day.
We will again be providing support vehicles for the riders this year with the all new Q7 and A4 Avant, featuring Quattro technology on hand to assist any riders who get into difficulty.
At the Crix our events team will be on hand at the start/finish line with our static display. Look out for the all new Audi R8 this year. With the V10 Plus model engine putting out an impressive 610PS it’s not to be missed. We will also have our latest range of lifestyle accessories on display including our cycle transport systems.
As a group we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the bike ride last year and we hope this year is even more successful than the last, with staff from all centres taking part we hope to raise as much money as we can for this amazing cause.
Spokes Cycle Care & Repair will be providing free technical support to all riders on the day. Why not contact Spokes and arrange for a full service on your bike before the big day by calling 07977 051 052 or visiting www.spokes.uk.com

We have had the privilege to hold a Royal Warrant to the reigning monarch since 1911.
Eat Natural are very pleased to be able to be part of Ride for Helen again this year.
Our bars are made with love and care from delicious, honest ingredients that are sourced from like-minded growers around the world, who believe, like us, that real taste comes naturally.
We make everything ourselves in small batches, pretty much by hand, at our very own ‘Makery’ in Essex and keep recipes beautifully simple, so you can taste exactly what’s in them.We never add any artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Good luck and we hope you enjoy your well deserved bar!
HRCC Fundraising Manager Kate Alden said: “We are all really looking forward to this year’s Ride for Helen as it’s always such an exciting and popular event which attracts a variety of participants. We have worked really hard to map out the best routes through the beautiful Essex countryside to ensure that all of our riders have a fantastic experience.
I’d like to thank Essex Audi for the use of their vehicles as recovery cars, Wilkin & Sons for providing the medals, drinks and snacks for everyone taking part and Winfresh for donating bananas – perfect for a healthy energy boost! Also thanks to The Lion at Boreham for providing essential water, Spokes Cycle Care and Repair in Chelmsford for their services and repairs and Eat Natural for donating their snack bars.
In 2018, Ride for Helen raised an incredible £30,000 for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, with almost 1,000 people taking part. It was fantastic to see families, groups of friends, and experienced cyclists all enjoying the ride. We also feel very lucky that our patron Ian Twinley, has kindly allowed us to use the beautiful grounds of The Crix as a starting and finishing point every year. We couldn’t organise such an amazing and successful event without the help of our dedicated team of volunteers, staff, sponsors and supporters.”
